Club ranges will be closed from October 5th to 9th for installing new equipment and range maintenance including a new gate control system.  Read below.

Cadillac Sportsman' s Club Member,

At the December 2025 Annual Meeting of the Cadillac Sportsman’s Club, the members in attendance approved making the membership renewal date to May 1 of each year. There will be a 4 month extension to your 2026 membership to cycle everyone to the May 1 date. You will receive a renewal notice in late March 2027 to remind you. 

We have recently experienced several issues with the gate entry system. It is the same system we installed 20 years ago and we can no longer obtain cards, nor is there any upgrade to this system.

To fix this we have purchased an upgraded program with new fob devices, we need to replace all of the gate cards with a new fob device. We will be assigning all the current paid members with the new fobs. 

Over the years we have had poor compliance with returning the gate cards which has cost the club a lot of money replacing the unreturned cards. 

To offset the cost of the new equipment and to hopefully get better compliance on returning the new fobs, we have raised the refundable deposit on the fobs to $75.00 .

The new system will also make it easier for us to keep track of your paid dues, address changes, etc.

We can not mail the new fob devices, so you will have to pick up the new fob in person at the club and pay your additional $40.00 deposit. You can pay by cash or check. We need you to turn in your old gate card when you pick up your new gate fob. We will also be checking that your contact info is correct to provide better communication. 

In order to install the new equipment and support system, and to do some outdoor maintenance on the ranges, we will be CLOSING THE CLUB RANGES/ 

GROUNDS from Oct. 5, 2026 to Oct. 9, 2026 .

However, we will be there on those days from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm for you to pick up your new fob.

Additional days for fob pick up are:

Saturday October 10 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Sunday October 11 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Saturday October 17 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Additional times will be by appointment, or during Sight In Days November 7th, 8th, 13th 14th from 9 am to 4 pm

After October 9 your old gate card will no longer work!! PLEASE BRING YOUR OLD GATE CARD(S) WITH YOU!

We appreciate your patience while we transition to the new system!
